Our Affiliate
Greeley Area Habitat for Humanity (GAHFH) is an ecumenical Christian non-profit organization created to provide access to decent affordable housing for families of modest means. We work in partnership with the community and families in need to build simple decent homes in the Greeley area.We are affiliated with Habitat for Humanity International, which has built over 350,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1.75 million people in 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter.
GAHFH was formed by a group of local volunteers who saw the need for affordable housing and decided to put faith and love into action. Officially recognized in 1987, the affiliate completed its first home in 1988.
Our Store
Our mission is to RECYCLE donations from individuals and businesses, RESELL them to the public at a reduced cost, and REINVEST the profits into Greeley Area Habitat for Humanity to help REBUILD livesthrough building homes.
Our store was started in October of 2005. It is one of about 16 Habitat ReStores in the state of Colorado. Each Habitat Restore varies in what they carry. Our ReStore focuses more on the home improvement side of things by taking and selling appliances, furniture and building materials.
